Jillian Vaccaro is an interdisciplinary artist and teacher based in Boston. She earned her BFA from Emmanuel College and completed her MFA at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Jillian’s work spans various mediums, focusing on the exploration of memories from her past. Her recent work explores floral imagery as a vessel for memory and emotion, drawing from flowers collected from her personal life and the experiences connected to them. Through mixed media, intuitive mark making, texture, and sculptural elements, she considers the relationship between organic forms, gesture, and memory.

In addition to her artistic practice, she is a dedicated art educator in Boston. Jillian maintains a studio at Mill Contemporary Art in Framingham, MA. She is also a member of Galatea Fine Art in the SoWa district.
